The highest priority of Steps To The Future Inc. is to provide Interim transitional housing and support services to homeless individuals 18 and older. We believe in taking action with urgency in order to accommodate those unhoused and assist with the homeless initiatives across the County of Los Angeles.

Who We Are
Steps To The Future Inc. is an Interim transitional housing program dedicated to providing homeless individuals with shelter. We will soon have multiple locations that are state-funded and have the ability to house referral and non-referral individuals 18 and up.

Steps To The Future's mission is to house, feed, and clothe the homeless while providing resources and supportive services to help individuals re-enter the community successfully.

Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but within our partnerships with organizations and professionals that align with our goals to provide safe effective interim housing.

We understand the barriers that the homeless population faces and have effectively designed a plan of action that sees value in each and every un-sheltered person. We aim to make our environment not only a place for shelter but one that provides positive interactions, that can reduce social isolation, and unhealthy behavior.

One of our goals is to address the participant's unmet needs, and that is why Steps To The Future Inc. was created. We strive to help our participants take steps towards overcoming challenges, and independent living in permanent housing.

A word from Founder Evertt Fields
I have been a certified peer-to-peer specialist and lead trainer for companies working with unhoused and mentally ill populations for over 4 years, along with operating sites that help clients re-acclimate back into the community with essential skills, mental health, and substance abuse support. I understand there are countless pressing issues for the unhoused that no single program could tackle alone. My focus is for Steps to the Future interim housing to become accessible all across California and provide programs that will successfully serve the homeless population and improve countless lives.
Staff
Our staff are fully licensed, certified, and trained in the areas of their professions. We strive to make sure our participants are in the best hands.
